If you are not a TriCounty Telecom customer, check your latest phone invoice for support numbers to your provider.

If I have no dial tone on my landline do I need to report that right away?
First check your equipment before you call. Unplug your cordless phone base and/or fax machine from the power supply to see if that is hanging up your line. If a serviceman is dispatched to your home and the problem is in your equipment there will be a service charge billed to your account.

What if my dial tone sounds funny?
If you recognize a “stutter” dial tone, that means you have a voice mail message and you can call 964-9200 to listen to your message.

How do I block my number per call?
Dial *67 to block your phone number listing per call at no charge.

How do I unblock my private number before a call?
Dial *82 to unblock your private number listing per call.

How do I check for buried cable on my property?
Call Utilities Protection Center, 8-1-1, for a locate before you dig.

How do I get a TriCounty Telephone Directory?
Come by the business office for pick up or click here to see a location closest to you.

Who do I call to get someone’s phone number or a business’ phone number?
Dial 4-1-1, the rate is $1.50 for all TriCounty Telecom service areas and most of North Carolina.
